Haiphong / Da Nang
Vietnam
Haiphong is northern Vietnam's principal deep-water port. Together with Da Nang further south, it anchors a shipbuilding and ship-repair industry that has grown steadily, building coastal and offshore vessels for domestic and regional owners.

- Ocean leg to Haiphong / Da Nang
- ~3–5 days
Wuhan sits on the Yangtze, about 1,000 km inland. It has no deep-sea berth of its own, so every export shipment starts with an inland leg.
Plate moves by Yangtze barge or road to Shanghai or Ningbo, where it is loaded onto an ocean-going vessel FOB. This first leg is identical for every destination we ship to.
Typical transit time from Shanghai to Haiphong / Da Nang, based on general ocean-freight shipping knowledge for this lane — subject to carrier routing, transshipment, and season. Confirm the exact schedule when you book; this is not a vessel-specific commitment.
Classification society compatibility
Shipyards and repair yards in Vietnam commonly work with NK, KR, CCS, DNV, among others. That reflects regional practice, not a port rule — a vessel's classification society is chosen by its owner or yard, not by the port it calls at. Either way, it is not a compatibility question for plate from our mill: the WISCO mill holds simultaneous works approval from all nine major classification societies — CCS, ABS, DNV, GL, BV, LR, RINA, KR, and NK — so your project's society is already covered.
